President Tomeing contributed $3,000 dollars to the Marshalls Billfish Club in support and as major sponsor of the 17th Budweiser All-Micronesia Fishing Tournament on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Larry Hernandez, Vice President of the Marshalls Billfish Club accepted the check on behalf of the club and thanked President Tomeing for the generous contribution.
Each year the Marshalls Billfish Club organizes and promotes the event, attracting anglers from Australia, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Hawaii, Japan, New Zealand, Republic of Nauru, Republic of Palau, and Saipan. While cost may be a burden on the Marshalls Billfish Club to organize and promote, it is with the generosity of many sponsors, and the dedication and commitment of the Marshalls Billfish Club that each fishing tournament is an acknowledged success.
President Tomeing congratulates this year’s 17th Budweiser All-Micronesia Fishing Tournament winners, as well as, the Marshalls Billfish Club and organizers, sponsors, and supporters for an excellent 17th Budweiser All-Micronesia Fishing Tournament.
